A photographer since a child Jan Landis has extensive experience photographing subjects
ranging from local weddings to Turkish lentil farmers. Her close association with the Oregon Zoo has enabled her to obtain
striking images of that organization's animals while enabling her to hone her skills with animals in general. As a travel
photographer, Jan becomes involved with her surroundings and the people, thus giving a better glimpse into their culture and
environment.
She has also won numerous awards
and has been published a number of times. Jan works both on commission and as an independent artist. Please see the
